July 2005: M.Sc. in Mathematics, cum laude, Università degli Studi di Roma "Tor Vergata" (advised by Andrea Clementi)
March 2009: Ph.D. in Computer Science, Università degli Studi dell'Aquila (advised by Andrea Clementi and Michele Flammini)
June 2009 - October 2016: Postdoc at Università degli Studi di Salerno, Sapienza Università di Roma, and Università di Roma "Tor Vergata".
November 2016 - October 2019: Assistant Professor at Università di Roma "Tor Vergata"
Since November 2019: Associate Professor at Università di Roma "Tor Vergata"

Research interests

Distributed computing; Randomized algorithms; Markov chains; Game theory; Cryptocurrency.
I am broadly interested in "randomness and computing". My research so far focused mainly on design and analysis of randomized distributed algorithms. My overall long-term research plan is to make my contribution to the understanding of the role that randomness plays in computer science.
